How it Works

Step 1: Draft

Our proprietary program allows you to draft your brief in an editable template, pre-built with rule required headings. Our Microsoft Word templates offer compliance tips, detailed practitioners’ notes, and links to Court rules.

You control the substance of your document with the help of our guidance notes, which alert the drafter to compliance pitfalls and help navigate an otherwise complex drafting process.

Step 2: Review

Our proprietary templates include rule compliant margins, font, and leading (the space between adjacent lines of type). They also allow for unique pagination styles (i, 1, App. 1, 1-A) to create multiple sections within a single filing. Take an opportunity to review our auto-populated table of contents and populate the table of authorities page (TOA will not auto populate).

Finally, reread your brief and refine your argument. Have you chosen the right tone? Have you found all the grammatical errors or citation problems?

Step 3: Publish

When you're finished drafting, simply convert your document to a text-searchable PDF file. This is the printing industry standard. Now you’re ready to print, file, and serve!
